With just a few hours left on Election Day, I want to thank each of you for your support. If you’re here from the QR code on my signs, please thank the neighbor whose yard holds the sign – they’ve gone above and beyond to connect our community.
Regardless of who fills the board seats, change is here, and it will continue. With Dr. Barke stepping down and our General Manager planning to retire, we know new perspectives will help shape our district.
As promised, my campaign signs will come down, but our communication will stay strong – and may even improve. I plan to continue my work as the Rossmoor Homeowners Association Community Engagement Coordinator, reaching out to those who serve, support, and care deeply about Rossmoor.
The high ballot return rate, even before polls close, shows just how much Rossmoor residents care. You make this happen. Together, we can make even greater things happen.
To stay connected, please sign up at my new web address: BetterParksForRossmoor.com. This site will launch soon with my mission, goals, and a framework for the next chapter.
Thank you again, and congratulations to every candidate. This experience has deepened my understanding of public service – it’s exciting, humbling, and, yes, daunting. I’m ready. I hope you are, too.
Warmly,
Mary Ann
P.S. I'm within my expected budget for this campaign, but a few more dollars will make sure that we have enough to launch into our next phase of either taking my seat at the dais, or making sure that the connections and work we have done over the past few months will continue to thrive.
I promised that the need for campaign funds would be proportional to our needs, and nothing more. To those who have made this campaign possible, thank you. For those who want to see what follows and wish to be part of great things into the future, here's a soft request for launching our next stages, and a chance to help it be an overwhelming success. I appreciate you all, and being part of our future together will be epic!
Environmental responsibility and accountability.
It's the little things. Things that are actually BIG things. Please read about why I'm stepping up to do more. As a community volunteer, I often ask our residents to be environmentally responsible. I expect nothing less of those who oversee our community parks and assets.
I do ask these questions, and I will continue to do so.
Btw, THANK YOU to the resident who shared this image with me. See something, say something....because together we are better.
